Overview
The VP Operations will work closely with the COO to ensure smooth, scalable execution of Farmers for Forests' field and back-office operations across multiple landscapes. This is a senior leadership role for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy and on-ground delivery.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery of field operations across project districts.
- Build and mentor regional operations and field-coordination teams.
- Design and continuously improve SOPs for plantation, MRV and community engagement.
- Partner with Finance to manage operational budgets and reporting.
- Drive adoption of F4F's drone/satellite monitoring tooling in the field.
Requirements
- 10+ years of operations leadership, ideally in development, agri or infrastructure.
- Proven experience managing large, geographically distributed field teams.
- Strong analytical and budgeting skills; comfort with data-driven decisions.
- Willingness to travel extensively across rural Maharashtra.
- Master's degree in Management, Rural Development or a related field.
